How Long have you been doing this? - Since I was 18 years old!

What got you into the game? - I was discovered by a Japanese photojournalist in 1983 who was visiting Canada , and stayed in Winnipeg on his travels . He saw me at the Winnipeg International Airport with my Mom.

What are your favorite styles to model? - Goth , Aristocratic Goth , Gothic-Victorian, Steampunk , Cosplay , Glam , Artistic , Fetish.

What is your favorite feature about yourself? - I like my skin, my eyes , and my smile!

What are your goals as a model? - To always be the best I can be , get published frequently , do lots of Promo events and keep growing as a model and human being! Also , to model for as long as I can!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? - Spending time with my Boyfriend , family and friends , Goth events , music events, shopping, writing and performing music.

What is a day in the life of Joan V Like? - BUSY! I work full time at my day job , I workout every day , and am often running errands , meeting with photogs , or creating new shoot ideas!

What type of music do you listen to? - Goth Rock , Deathrock , Old School Punk rock, electronic music, black metal, and even classical music!

What are 5 things you couldn’t live without? - My Sweetheart , my Gothic clothing / accessories,

Do you have any unusual talents? - That depends on what you mean by unusual! : )

Is there anything about yourself you would like to share with us?

- Modelling is a passion of mine , and I intend to be in front of the camera for as long as I possibly can! I am also a musician , and play the piano , pipe organ , harpsichord , and electronic keyboards. I believe in being one's true self at all times , and in self-expression. I also believe in myself . I believe I'm a bit eccentric. I have experienced a lot of hardships in my life , but I always live everyday with the hope that I am always becoming a better and stronger person because of them. I want to share my talents , my experiences and my Art with other people . And I don't like rules! The less the better!! I am strong and outspoken, but am also generous and I try to be kind as much as possible. I love small furry animals - like cats , dogs , bunnies , etc. I hate people who are fake , arrogant , conceited , dishonest, or cruel. I can see through people quite easily , so I am not easily fooled.
